React.js / Django - Full Stack Development @ Flux Makerspace

After this class, you will be able to create your own complex web applications, help others build websites, and gain lifelong skills in technology. With this class, you should be able to make and maintain web applications on your own. This course's main goal is to provide context for beginner / intermediate developer so they can continue their development journey. and should be well suited for anyone with or without a hobbyists interest in software development. Beginners welcome!

This class will be 50% Django and 50% React. The first half of the course is the python portion, and the second half is javascript oriented. The 300 dollar fee covers both halves of the class. This class is recommended for people who are serious about being a technologist or technology entrepreneur. Flux Makerspace has additional resources to continue learning after the class has concluded.

Equipment Needed: Computers will be provided. If you want to work on your own laptop it must be a mac or linux computer.

Instructor: Kevin Wojton. Kevin Wojton has spent most of his career working for or running his own start ups in New York City, Hong Kong, and Chattanooga, Tn. Kevin grew up in Cleveland and returned to open Flux Makespace and Cleveland Rocks Climbing Gym in Ohio City. Kevin is excited about pursuing technology that enables the entrepreneurs and provides gives life long skill sets.

Dates: June 4th-27th on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7-9pm for a total of 8 classes (if you are unable to attend a few classes the instructor can arrange to catch up sessions)
